Description :High Availability Port Monitor (HAPM) is a local port status check. It is a simple, light and fast daemon to check TCP/UDP ports. If one or more monitored ports (per IP) downs then the Heartbeat will be killed by HAPM.

Description :NagVis is a visualization addon for the well known network managment system Nagios. NagVis can be used to visualize Nagios Data, e.g. to display IT processes like a mail system or a network infrastructure.
General:
- New default backend is: MKLivestatus (!!!)
- New Authentication and Autorisazion mechanism
- NagVis default location is not in nagios/share anymore
- Many installer improvements
- The installer can remove deprecated options from the maps now
Front End:
- Misc redesigns of frontends and styles
- Templates, Iconsets, ... are located in a dedicated directory (userfiles/)
- URLs can be used as background image on maps
- Possible to enable/disable the header and hover menus by url parameter
- Using new template format now (Powered by Dwoo)
- Added new line types (Weathermap lines and line without arrows)
- Added stateless lines
- Added automatic language detection
- Styles of fonts in textboxes/labels can be customized easier using CSS
- Colors, sounds and state weights in NagVis are now configurable
Automap:
- Multiple automap configuration files allowed now
- Added problem automap
- Added most NagVis frontend features to automap (e.g. Context menu, automap to automap links)
WUI:
- Added optional grid to make positioning of icons easier
- The header menu is used in WUI now
- Textboxes can easily be resized using drag+drop features
- Template objects can be managed using the WUI now
- Objects can be cloned now
